1. Introduction
Welcome to Z-ANI, the anime and drama platform developed by CodexiLab. We are committed to protecting your personal data and your privacy. This Privacy Policy details the types of information we collect, how we store and protect it, and the options we provide for managing and deleting your user account.
2. Information We Collect
To deliver a synchronized streaming experience across devices, we collect only the necessary credentials and usage history:
- Account Credentials: When you register an account, we collect your display name, email address, and a hashed version of your password. We never store passwords in plaintext.
- Usage Data & Playback History: We record your current watch progress (episode identifier, seconds watched, and progress percentage) to allow you to resume watching from any device.
- Support Logs: When you file feedback, we collect the subject, text description, and device parameters (OS version and device type) to debug issues.
3. Advertising & Data Safety
For users on our Free Tier, we serve ads using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). AdMob may collect and process device identifiers, cookies, and network parameters to personalize and serve sponsored content. Premium members do not transmit data to advertising brokers.
4. Account Deletion & Data Retention
We respect your right to be forgotten. If you delete your account, we immediately and permanently erase all your personal data, session logs, and watch progress history from our production servers.
How to Request Account Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via two methods:
- In-App Deletion (Recommended): Log into our official Android app, open the Profile Screen, navigate to Account Settings, scroll to the bottom and tap the Delete Account button. Confirm your decision to erase your profile instantly.
- Web Support Deletion: If you are unable to access the mobile application, contact our security administration team directly at support@z-ani.codexilab.com with your registered email, and your account will be purged manually within 48 hours.
5. Data Security
All communication between our clients and the API is protected using Industry-Standard SSL/HTTPS encryption. Locally stored auth keys on the mobile client are persisted securely using encrypted Shared Preferences on Android.
